Season One[]
While hunting with another man, Fuller, Carlton spotted the Headless Horseman's mount in the woods and appeared to recognize the other-wordly horse for what it was. Using his cell phone, he immediately and urgently contacted someone and notified him that he had found the horse in the woods, but the horse's rider was missing.
Fuller was confused by Carlton's concern, and the fact that he seemed not to be speaking English, unaware that his supposed friend was actually a Shadow Warrior. When he then asked if Carlton had been speaking German. Without replying, Carlton casually, and without remorse, shot him to death.[1]
