Devon Jones was a police detective of the Sleepy Hollow Sheriff Department.

Alongside Captain Frank Irving and Detective Luke Morales, Jones investigates the murder of Wendel Clark. In "The Vessel," he and Morales sign on to help protect Irving, his ex-wife Cynthia Irving, and their daughter Macey Irving. Ancitif, on his way towards possessing Macey, inhabits Jones at the precinct of the Sleepy Hollow Sheriff's Department. Through Jones, Ancitif jumps to Morales upon their arrival at the safe-house. When the demon-inhabited Morales notices Irving's priest barricaded a door with salt, preventing his entrance, he orders Jones to move the salt away. Unfortunately, he does so and then Ancitif murders Jones through Morales.
