"Burn. You burn... You must burn for me. You must join the eternal flame."
—The Djinn to its victim[src]

The Djinn was an Arabian demon that came to Washington DC after being summoned by Malcolm Dreyfuss.

Thanks to the video that Logan MacDonald posted on his Picagram account going viral, hundreds of people came down with a mystical virus originating with the Djinn who was able to mesmerize the victims into going to his lair at a server farm at Washington DC, owned by Dreyfuss Enterprises.

Once its victims arrived, they circled the Djinn. When needed, the Djinn called forth a victim and they were then consumed in its fire. Ichabod Crane and his team pursue and discover hundreds of infected victims including two of their own.

They spot Logan and Alex. She approaches the Djinn, and Jake is comes down with the infection. Diana innoculates Alex while Jake shrugs off Crane and heads to the Djinn.

The Djinn throws a fireball at Diana, who ducks just in time. Crane dons a pair of insulated gloves, rips free two electrical lines, and says that it's time to summon the lightning. The Djinn comes at him, as Jake reaches for it. Alex runs up and knocks Jake aside, and Diana shoots the Djinn. Distracting it and Crane is able to electrocute it.

With the Djinn destroyed, everyone snaps out of the spell.[1]
