"A creature imbued with its creator's most ardent passions. Jeremy's doll became the golem."
Ichabod Crane to Abbie Mills[src]

The Golem was Jeremy's protector and served as his means of targeting the Sisterhood of the Radiant Heart for his revenge. Jeremy's Golem was sealed away by the Sisterhood of the Radiant Heart and Jeremy was buried alive by The Four Who Speak As One who attempted to stop his heart with a death hex. The Golem later returned to destroy the Sisterhood and kill its leaders where it was later killed by Ichabod and transformed back into the doll.

History[]

Creation[]

The doll was given to Jeremy Crane by his mother, Katrina Crane after she was forced to give him up as her coven, the Sisterhood of the Radiant Heart were after her for saving Ichabod Crane. The doll was later activated when Jeremy was being punished by the head of the orphanage. A drop of blood awakened the golem within the doll that Katrina had created. The doll then killed the head of the orphanage and kneeled before Jeremy, recognizing him as the one he was charged to protect.[1] The golem was destructive which forced the Four Who Speak As One to use their magic to imprison the golem into Purgatory as their magic and spells couldn't stop it any other way.[2]

Golems, such as Jeremy's, are created when a warlock/witch is in a time of need. Usually the spilling of the warlock/witch's blood on an object is used to create or bring life to the golem. Depending on the creator, a golem can protect others or kill others. If a warlock or witch is kind or good-hearted, the golem will only kill if it must. However, Jeremy was angered and tortured to the point where he sought revenge. With this, his golem became violent and only controllable by Jeremy. The only way for a golem to die is for it to be stabbed or injected with its master's blood or the blood of any relative of the master's.[2]
