Macey Irving is the daughter of Cynthia and Frank Irving. A high school student, she is confined to a wheelchair after being struck by a hit and run driver.

History[]

Her father used to work in the NYC and spent a lot of time from home, after the accident that paralyzed her, he blamed himself for this neglect and the various strains broke up the marriage. Her parents are now divorced and she lives with her mother. Frank took the job in Sleepy Hollow thinking that it would be less pressure and more family time.

In part, due to the return of the Horseman and the increase of crime in Sleepy Hollow, her father continued to frequently cancel weekend visits with Macey. Cynthia told him if misses one more weekend, she will file for full custody.

In "The Vessel", Macey becomes the target of Ancitif, who seeks to obtain Washington's Bible. Her father installs her and her mother in a safe house that becomes compromised when the demon possesses one of the police on duty.

Macey is then possessed by Ancitif, who uses her form to kill the priest brought in to protect her. The demon Macey then tells Frank to take it to the Bible or it will kill Cynthia next. Frank calls Abbie to tell her he is going to get the Bible, so she has time to set up a defense, and leads the demon Macey to the Archives where they find the book missing. Demon Macey is then confronted by the Mills sisters and Ancitif is expelled after they trap Macey inside a salt barrier and draw the demon from Macey's body with The Lantern retrieved by Ichabod CraneAbbie Mills, and Jennifer Mills.[1]
