Season Two of Sleepy Hollow was reported ordered on October 3, 2013[1]. It premiered on Fox on September 22, 2014.

Synopsis[]

Picking up immediately after the events of the Season One finale, Ichabod Crane finds himself buried alive in a coffin; Abbie Mills is trapped in Purgatory. Katrina, has been kidnapped by the Headless Horseman; Capt. Frank Irving is behind bars for a murder he did not commit; and Abbie's sister, Jenny, is unconscious in the wreckage of an horrific car crash. These events were due, in large part, to the shocking revelation that Henry Parish, the Sin Eater, is actually Ichabod and Katrina Crane's son, Jeremy, and the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse. Now, with Henry's emergence as the Horseman of War, alongside the Headless Horseman Moloch's plans advance another step.

  • Some fans said this is an expansion of the original season, as it has deeper plots for Abbie, Jenny, Abraham, etc.
  • Season 2 was actually met by more favorable reviews. It also held a 100% rating from Rotten Tomatoes saying, ""Sleepy Hollow continues to pack a punch in its sophomore season, with fantastic writing and lots of chills."
