Wistaron and Wiroh were two Mohawk scouts who worked with Ichabod Crane during the American Revolution who he considered his friends. They told him the story of how the dream demon, Ro'kenhronteys, had had killed Wiroh's father for failing a friend. They explained the threat of Ro'kenhronteys encouraged that the Mohawk should be decent to each other, always do right by a neighbor, and not turn your back on family, otherwise, Ro'kenhronteys will punish you.
